First Post

Well, I haven’t left yet.  In fact, I haven’t even started packing.  I’ve just started to feel some anxiety about my departure.  Only a few loose-ends to tie up before I go.  November 20th is the big day.  I’ve started to make some friends that I’ll be training with for the first week.  They all seem like outgoing people.   Some of us have become Facebook friends for pre-training stalking.  My goals, so far, are to learn as much Japanese as possible and to find a martial art to study.  That’s all for the first blog.  I’m not sure how this whole thing even works yet.  Hopefully I haven’t completely wasted my time typing this and you’ll be able to read it.
